Prioritizing Health and Wellness: Essential for Busy Professional Women
In the fast-paced world of entrepreneurship and high-level careers, busy professional women often find themselves juggling numerous responsibilities, both at work and at home. While excelling in their careers, maintaining relationships, and managing households, it can be easy to neglect their own health and wellness. Time for self becomes minimalized, diminished, to nonexistent. Routine doctors appointments, eye exams, and women's wellness visits get pushed way beyond their due date. Work, kids, family, clients become the center point of their universe, and they drift so far from ourselves that we barely recognize who we see in the mirror.
Production of energy for everything and everyone else in their world's become the priority. Women often forget that they must overflow their own cup before they can add to someone else's cup. Over the years women have been groomed to think that cup pouring looks like lavish trips, the mani-pedi, spa dates, expensive brunch dates with the girls, while this is all true, the health and wellness aspect has not been glamorized so much. However, prioritizing fitness, nutrition, rest, and stress management is crucial for maintaining a healthy work-life balance and achieving sustained success.
For a long time, I was one of these women. Everything and everybody's needs were before my own. My mom, my son, my clients, my friends and family, my good government job when I was a Govie and recently my business. I know what it's like to long for a stand still in time, to just be in my own energy, to want peace and quiet, to regain control of my mental, physical, and emotional health. The prime opportunity was created when COVID-19 took over the world.
Though a very tragic global crisis, it was my saving grace. It was the start of my rebirth and major transformation of my entire life. It allowed me to have the stand still in time that I craved, needed and lusted after for so many years. During this difficult time, I found myself, I healed myself (physical, mental & emotionally), I blocked out the noise, and focused on transforming my life for the betterment of me and the generations to follow. Now, I seek to help women to transform to their higher self through health and wellness.
My greatest reward in life has been serving myself, while serving others. I am constantly searching for ways to improve myself, learn, grow and break down barriers. In turn, I share my lessons, findings and knowledge with women who seek to do the same. We get our greatest blessings in life when we bless others. 🙏
Now that you know my story and why I do chose to empower women with the exact same tools that helped me to ascend, let's talk about why focusing on your well-being is essential and how you can integrate these practices into your busy life. 🍎🧘♀️💪
